The Save plan is the center of your membership with bae-MSME Fund. It enables you to qualify for loans up to 3X your main savings contribution in the funds-basket.
Regular AssetLoan
The Asset Loan enable you to purchase assets; build house, buy plot or car, motorcycle of other productive assets including farming.
Emergency BorrowPlan
This loan is designed to help you to meet unexpected occurrences; medical bills, funeral expenses, education needs and other unplanned situations back home.
Loyalty BorrowPlan
Loyalty Borrow Plan is extended for development purpose and business investment. This is given to members who would like to take a longer repayment period. Higher interest rate is charged for the facility.
ELIGIBILITY FOR A BORROW PLAN
First join bae-MSME Fund as a member and consistently contribute to your Diaspora Save Plan account for a minimum of 6 months before you can apply for a loan.
HOW IT WORKS
Bae-MSME Fund Diaspora Remittances are funds sent from outside the country (Abroad) to families or communities in Malawi. These remittances (Funds) are invested in Malawi or are used by beneficiaries for everyday consumption purposes and access to basic services such as; health, education and housing for loved ones.
Remittances are also sent to cushion people whose livelihoods are threatened by natural disasters or other calamities.
When such funds are not used for immediate consumption needs, they are invested into bae-MSME Fund or turned into other productive investments as directed by Sender.
Our Diaspora Remittances service simplifies the Last-Mile Remittances processes, making it easy and secure, so FUNDS are SENT, RECEIVED and SAVED or INVESTED as instructed by sender eliminating wastage and loss.

This product is the Main Savings Plan for Malawian Diaspora and the key to your membership of the Fund. Every Diaspora member must have, in order to access all Fund products and services. It is a non-deposit and non-withdrawal account, very different from what traditional banks offer and this is our competitive advantage. You achieve more at low cost for the long haul.

Eligibility
- Minimum contribution every month is $50
- There is no maximum limit you can save every month or at any time.
- The more money you contribute to the SAVE Plan, the bigger the credit facility you can access from the fund.
- You qualify to access Credit Up-to 3X the cumulative amount in your Save account
- To access Credit on Borrow Plans, contribute consistently for a minimum of 6 months.
- Be a Malawi Diaspora over 18 years old with proof of stable income
- Have valid Malawian Passport or National ID.

- Pay a mandatory registration fee of $50
